so wanting to get that golden, sun kissed tan that i braved the summer heat with just a bottle of hawaiian tropic dark tanning lotion with a measly spf of 4. yes, no sun block, to hell with skin cancer, i will have that tan.

went island hopping to anawangin and capones somewhere in pundaquit zambales. i’ll save the showing of pictures for later; i made sure that i catch maximum tanning time under the sun. i am so done with self tanning-tan in can-and i want an au naturelle bronzy color. for the whole day, eating, playing in the sun, swimming, boat ride, gallivanting on the shore-i was in my trunks (not the skimpy kind) to get an even color, not a big fan of tan lines. around 6 hours of sun, sea, nauseating waves, adobong manok, embutido, 3 boat rides, a bottle of tanning lotion, i finally got that nice, rich, bronzy tan that i have been dying all my adult life.

driving back to manila, i had my back straight, not touching anything, not even the backrest. yes it hurts like hell, but who said looking good is painless?
